Hello Astronauts Community! I am Ms. Marion Thomas and I am excited to serve as Principal of Mission Elementary. My educational background began over 17 years ago in FBISD where I have had the opportunity to serve as a teacher, math specialist, Assistant Principal and Campus Principal.

I earned my Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Houston, Go COOGS! Later, I earned my Masters of Education at Lamar University in Educational Leadership. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to podcasts, reading and spending time with my family.

I am big on providing our families with memorable educational experiences, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders, and student success. I look forward to serving this beautiful community and reaching the moon!

Assistant Principal

Ms. Wendy Mowry

Hello Mission Families!

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as one of the Assistant Principals at Mission Elementary.

Although this is a new role for me, Mission is not a new place. For the past three years, I have had the privilege of serving as Mission's English Learner Specialist, and I am incredibly thankful for the relationships I've built with our students, families, and staff. I am honored to continue serving this amazing community in a new capacity.

One of the things I enjoy most about being an educator is building relationships with students and watching them grow throughout the year. Whether I'm visiting classrooms, celebrating successes, or simply greeting students in the hallway, I believe it's the everyday moments that make our school community so special.

I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Mission community as Assistant Principal. I look forward to working alongside our students, families, and staff as we make this a wonderful school year. I can't wait to celebrate the successes and growth of our Mission Astronauts, and I look forward to seeing you around campus!
